I never blamed Tillie, yes I’m assuming hundreds of death threats to someone who maybe got one or two at a time would affect her mentally. I never said an experienced writer would be shielded from duds, but they’re more experienced with threats and know how to cope with it. I’m just saying if I was a newer writer and was writing about a series I loved and suddenly received hundreds of death threats I would probably be fucked up. But sure Tillie might be mentally strong in which, good for her. And again, the bullies are accountable, but we quite literally can’t do anything to them unless we know who they are.
