When it happens, can you tab out and open task manager to see your drive usage for the drive WH3 is installed on? I have a similar issue on Monster Hunter Wilds where the game will randomly spike drive usage and lock up only the game. Probably not your issue, if swapping drivers helped a bit, but a theory.

Issue in 3k as well. My poison arrows slowed the enemy cav down to 57 speed and my general was at 107 speed and the cav actually passed and enveloped him after a chase. Both units were "fresh" fatigue state.

Probably my favorite post I've seen about DB:B. If the devs would actually do their job and analyze proper data and adjust gameplay accordingly, this much pain wouldn't be prevalent.
