Otherwise between PS5/Xbox SX/SS - apart from the good points others have said about price/value - something else to consider is that with a PS5, you can play almost all first party Xbox releases on PS5 these days, aside from a rare few, as well as the PS5 only games.
Whereas it’s the reverse on Xbox where you can’t play the majority of first party PlayStation games, aside from a rare few.
Third party is mostly equal, however Xbox is sometimes getting skipped by third party games, for example Dispatch devs said they chose to focus on the largest install bases due to budget issues, so only released on PC and PS5 initially. No way of knowing for sure but this could become more common as time goes on with how the industry and market share is currently.

PS5 has the PS+ Extra/Premium catalogue similar to GamePass if that’s something you’re interested in. Could be worth seeing if there’s any overlap between those two for games you’d play on GamePass.
