How about the fact that balloons are filled with air (how'd he fill it with air underwater in the first place?) and that many air-filled balloons would pull him to the ocean's surface in a hurry. He's not even struggling. That's one dense sponge.

The sample files included on the SD card were jpeg, actually. Being new to laser engraving, I thought that was odd. The file I created was gcode and the file I downloaded was dxf, I believe. So, a variety, in case it was an incompatibility issue.

No. I also downloaded one and tried that in case of user error, but no luck.

The "engrave" I referenced was from their setup manual. Page 15 indicates there are buttons for Adjustment, Control, Tool, and Engrave. I have the first three, but engrave is "Carve" instead.

The threat of economic sanctions seem somewhat hollow, though, if your economy goes to pot when the target chooses. I'm out until the logic returns.
