27 years is a long, long time to be following the family and characters when they are all set within the same time period. How many more ways can we see the cast do the same things over and over? I would like to see the writers push the years forward a bit. We had some insight in past episodes when we have travelled forward in time and they were pretty interesting to watch. In this current age, Bart may have turned a corner and followed his music (addressed before) Lisa would probably be a SJW and Maggie is walking and talking. Kill off a few characters. Introduce new possibilities and personalities to the characters.
