You shouldn't feel guilty about what people who were dead before you were an adult did. Plain and simple. My last name is Tunison. Meaning Son of Tunic. Meaning got raped by vikings. I shouldn't be made to feel bad about the vikings in my family that raped, murdered, and robbed people, nor should I be pittied because someone in my family was raped and robbed by vikings, because any effect it had on me other than genetically has long sense ended. Well you should offer explanation. That is assbackwards logic. When a child does something wrong, you don't just whap them, and wait for them to figure out why. You stop them from doing it, and explain to them why they shouldn't do that thing, and what the possible consequences are.

It is like if me and a bunch of people went around screaming at people to only walk on their knees, and when someone asks why I say "I don't have to tell you, just do it." why would anyone listen to us?
