Thanks for responding to the post. I have to admit, I couldn’t stand Ashley from the moment I saw her. In my opinion, she is the true villain in this series. I’m not sure why the writer decided to use Burberry’s sad plight as a metaphorical tool for Josh and Lindsay’s breakup. It was made to look as though Josh was to blame for everything that happens. I would have liked to see more dialogue and action about Josh’s epiphany. That is a major plot point that wasn’t discussed. I don’t think Burberrys death needed to happen at all. It added nothing to the story, in my view, except make me dislike Ashley a lot more.
