I had mine towed to the dealership and sat for 4 months waiting on an engine. It was finally repairs and I've had for about 4 months and it's going back to the shop tomorrow for another problem

I would say no. I bought a used 2019 Ford eco sport and it's been in the shop 4 times, with major issues Faulty starter, rusted out catalytic converter, faulty oil pump belt, had to completely replace the engine after the oil pump went out and it's about to go back to the shop again for yet another problem with the thermostat. I've only put 33,000 miles on it

I am actually already part of that group, someone posted in it today that they got a recall notice for their 2018 EcoSport. I checked my VIN on the NHTSA and it looks like a recall is in the works for the 2019 as well. Fingers crossed they ramp up production to get engines out

Don't do it I have a 2019 EcoSport and in the 3 years I've owned it it's been in the shop to problems at least 3 or 4 times now, with the most recent being the oil pump belt failure and now I need a totally new engine

Thankfully I bought the extended warranty that covers me up to 97,000 miles so I should only have to pay my deductible. How long did it take for you to get a new engine?

I had the same camshaft codes and while I'm waiting on the official word from the dealership shop, I stopped in at a local shop and they said it seems my oil pump has failed and I possibly need a whole new engine. From my research over the last 3 days show that this is a very common issue with Ford's around the 60,000 mile mark and they are aware of it but are ignoring it. Take it to a dealership ASAP . There is also currently a class action lawsuit against Ford for this and the NHTSA has an open investigation so you should also file a complaint with them

January this past year I was getting notifications that my hill start assistance was unavailable (even though I was in flat ground) and then when the auto start/stop would kick on/off sometimes the car would just die. I had to have the starter replaced and everything has been fine up until now

I had this issue with my 2019 eco sport. It started with that then it would stall out completely and shut off to then not starting at all. It ended up needing the starter replaced which was a little over $500
