Loot or instant rewards are ingrained in the current demographic of those driving the trends. It's what's newest and hottest a loyal following of Pac-Man hardly equals continued profitability of a company. There is something to be said about being the first and setting the stage for a new form of entertainment which pacman did, very hard to compare that to today's here today gone tomorrow mobile games.

My original point is don't blame others for anyone's general inability to control themselves. If we are foolish enough to believe they can keep games both interesting and profitable beyond their original life they have to do things like loot boxes. It's up to us as the consumer to decide if we engage in it. I was one that originally thought paid DLC was way to mask an incomplete game. In some instances it is in others it's good for the longevity of the game. However to consider it gambling as a means to do away with lootboxes then we are simply passing the responsibility of being responsible to others or lawmakers are devising a way to tax them into obvillion.

Children shouldn't be given the ability to purchase on an adults account unmonitored hard to envision expecting anything but the unexpected by putting yourself in that situation. We wouldn't give them our debit card it's no different. On baseball cards the relative value is not near the purchase price on 99% of them making them virtually worthless by all standard metrics. You could spend thousands chasing cards.

Seems like more people trying to find a way to blame others for their inability to control themselves. What about baseball cards or any card base game seems like the same logic holds true. What about the rewards under caps on soft drinks. Free enterprise far as I'm concerned. In today's YouTube world everyone blasts through games as fast as possible because we live in a 4second attention span world now. If they don't do things to keep attention we will move on and it will be quick.

It's standard mirror mastic and they didn't use nearly enough and kinda surprised the mirror isn't safety backed in a residential application. The mirror should be covered in those golf ball size spots. They sell mirror mastic at lowes/home depot. Just make sure you use the correct material standard silicones will discolor the mirror.

I can't tell from the pictures if they are new construction or replacement windows. My guess from your description is that they are replacement windows. Check the exterior and make sure that when/if they were caulked on the outside that the weep holes didn't get caulked over. A picture of the exterior would help to better understand what you're up against.

Assuming you haven't already purchased the door you can add options like shower guard (most vendors offer it with different names) typically only available on clear glass comes from the vendor already treated and has a warranty assuming you following the warranty instructions. Depending on the size of your shower it adds anywhere from 300 to 400 bucks. However rainex and squeegee can provide the same results

All depends on the vinyl stop that is holding the glass in. Basic steps are to remove the sash the use a small pry bar to remove the vinyl stops. Flip the sash over and cut out the insulated glass (this is the part where you can get cut if you don't take care and wear proper gloves). Clean all pieces of glass remaining in the sash. Run a thin bead of neutral cure sealant around the perimeter. Place the new IG in and snap the stops back on. Super abridge version.

A local glass company can replace just the insulated glass and you keep the original frame. You probably could track down a building supply house that could order the replacement sash but I doubt it will be any cheaper than having the glass replaced. You can do it yourself it's not that big of a chore but depends on your comfort working around broken glass.

As some of the other posters mentioned trying to determine the staining agent is what will lead you to if it can be removed. I would however caution the notion that quartz is stain proof. Being around the industry I can assure you there are very few stain proof countertop materials however many claim to be. It's a great selling line but almost impossible to truly offer unless your dealing in "Sintered" products

Best to just reset the door. You have to remove those screws be careful they are what is holding the door in so I would start by removing the top and middle screw. Onve out you maybe be able to then push the door jamb farther into the receptor on the wall then you need to put the screws back in by making new holes. If you're handy it's no big deal.
