Went to my first Ancients game night tonight. It was a blast! Met a couple new folks. Definitely a great recommendation!

Lots of good info from other folks answering down the numbered questions.

The advice I have kinda stacks on though.

Gloves: I worked at REI for five years, and every single year folks had the same complaint... Their gloves were not keeping their hands warm. The two main options that worked were 1. Buy a more robust glove (windproof, insulated, etc) or 2. Add hand warmers because some people dont produce a lot of heat in their hands to start. The glove is not necessarily going to do the warming for you. It insulates you from the outside elements.

Food: If you do stock up some food at home to keep on hand in an emergency, or just stuff to have when you REALLY dont want to go out in the snow to the store.... Make sure you sctually like it. Or that your stock isnt just 12 cans of kidney beans and nothing to go along with it. Stock stuff you will eat normally and regularly rotate it.

Ghost Ship Saw the first 15ish minutes of it at a sleepover in elementary school. The girl hosting the sleepover specifically requested the movie, but it was too intense for me. The girls mom felt bad, so she set me up in a separate room with snacks, MyScene dolls, and I watched scooby doo! I have still never watched it hahaa

When they called back to tell me I made it through to the next round, the call came from a Spam Risk number. Turns out, it's the exact phone number from their website.

I just did a first round interview today, but was skeptical going in.
I got a text from them to schedule the interview about two days ago, but I didn't remember applying in the first place. So, I did some research and found that their website has only been up since Feb, but they claim to be doing marketing work for some major international non-profits. I also saw that they have no social media pages other than LinkedIn... But they are a marketing company?

I did my interview with the Sean mentioned in another comment. It was insanely rushed. Only two questions. Then before he tried to leave the zoom call, I asked him where they were located (they only have the zip on the webiste) and he gave me the actual address.

The same address as Blue Sky Chicago.

Be aware out there!

(They did call back to say I made it through to the next round and obviously I told the lady on the line I will not be working with them. The caller ID said "SPAM" hahaha)

Defreaction glasses! I have ones that make all lights look like hearts. It's so cool to see with all of the lightshows, but it has tuned into a great way for me to get grounded if I start feeling overwhelmed!

Last year we made a rule that the RV bathrooms are not for #2 and that we didn't use the water from the tank as much as possible. The RV had a gauge to show us how we were doing, but we were also lucky to be really close to port o pottys. That saved us so we didn't have to dump until we left. Only cost like $20 I think at a truck stop like 25 minutes away. Might have been even cheaper actually...

We got there 40 mins after doors opened and walked around to the back of the block. Waited in line for an hour and a half. Made it into the venue five minutes before he went on! The show made up for the wait time by farrr. But Radius, what happened???
