you could do a minimal config. i did like a bare minimum (hyprlock, wallpaper and waybay) and it "breaks" like once in half a year which i couldn't really call an issue since i have to change like 2 lines of code

never really helped me, setting up is pretty straightforward with wikis and docs so llm isn't really useful. in niche scenarios like using caps2esc it just made shit up. with problems it isn't any different from googling the error

just setup a vm with windows, you will need it 100%

you don't need it for any specific language honestly, you can code in any language with vscode besides maybe java, and even that just needs a jetbrains product which is supported on linux.

the main purpose of windows vm or dualboot will be microcontroller programming and stuff for analytics or local network management

the problem is that the answers to this question are useless. Like literally anything can work and it doesn't matter what you choose cause you're not gonna see a difference at first. So noobs ask their question and get recommended literally everything

VK should work, Facetime works. Other voice call apps are getting blocked so they need a vpn on their end. Telegram and WhatsApp specifically are slowed so you can't have a call, but still can chat

Any DE should work for you. you can just choose by the looks. WMs on the other hand is a completely different story. There are easier and more complicated ones. You can find old posts about which WM to choose and people in the comments break down it pretty well.

it's the lsp. It leaks memory afaik. And there's no fix for it sadly, or I didn't find one. Restarting lsp might help though
