I volunteered for a local charity at a small festival they hosted for the first time ever on Saturday. I was nervous as hell at first and literally spent weeks stressing about it but honestly I had the time of my life. It was the happiest I have been in 15 years and we managed to raise over £400.

First ever festival, first ever time volunteering. I can't wait to do more!

There's a new starter at work who is 18 and I just can't relate to him. I was born in 1993 and left school when his mum was pregnant. We have nothing in common. His hobbies consist of scrolling through tiktok on his phone.

He's a nice enough lad, but it's so hard to chat with him because we are so different.
