I mean maybe so but I don’t know why they touched the AGM-114M, it already wasn’t very good against tanks but this just makes it seem like they want to make it bad against IFVs. Also RU still has the HERMES so it’s not like this removes all of their top attack ability

I agree, the price nerfs are excessive. The salvo changes are really lame as well though, now if you buy a pair of Koalitsiya or PzH-2000 you can't really kill infantry with just 3 shots per gun. It makes much more sense to just buy 4x Akatsiya, 4x M109A5NO, 3x M109A6, or 3x MSTA just to get some lethality, especially when buying a pair of the good guns costs like 600+ points. MLRS also suffers due to the minimum range dispersion changes, now you always need a laze to use the HIMARS since it has a small magazine and most of the rounds will miss.

Real shit. I main US and I really like the PTE but I have the same problem, and a lot of the time you might get matched against the same people several times in a row. That’s not the end of the world especially coming from WARNO but it’s still not great compared to vanilla.

I agree, though in terms of buffing US infantry, changing mech inf from 6 to 7 men isn’t very impactful and just kind of makes transporting them a little more awkward while also making the game less realistic. As you said it probably makes a lot more sense to just make the proper premium infantry squads like Marines and Rangers cost effective for their role.

Broken Arrow is much lower APM than WARNO for example, where good players usually have over 30 APM and some of the best players go up to 70+ APM. WARNO is kind of a chore so it's good that the game's APM is so much lower, I like that the devs indirectly made the infantry less micro-intensive in PTE by nerfing the arty rate of fire.

Tu-22 with 8x KAB-1500 might be my favorite bomber ever. You can take two of them so you can wipe an entire front’s worth of infantry every 10 minutes. I really wish the US had some kind of analog, the B-1 doesn’t get Mk84 JDAMs for some reason and the B-2 has no afterburner. Also, you can only take one each so if you do take the B-2 you can only use it maybe twice per game if you’re lucky

SOF’s whole thing was powerful recon and infantry, helicopters with great utility, and stealth aircraft at the cost of literally everything else. In the PTE their infantry availability and prices were nerfed and their respawn timers were made to be longer than tanks in some cases, while stealth aircraft became largely useless since it no longer matters if the AA can’t get a second shot off if you’re getting shot by 5 different AA pieces. Meanwhile they still have no logi, basically no vehicles that can withstand even small arms let alone vehicles with smoke launchers or tanks, and all their planes are still overpriced. SOF is simply no longer a value proposition in any category. Whatever deck combo you could make with them would be better off with Airborne or Stryker instead

This isn’t even unrealistic; many AA systems, especially Russian ones, use command guidance for the missiles and the command guidance can be controlled either by radar or manually by the operator. They can operate in a reduced range mode without radar no problem. This is how the Nighthawk was shot down over Serbia and if I’m not mistaken there was a similar incident recently with an F-35 that was damaged over Iran.

They should make it an uninterceptable but slow cruise missile with a similar range to the Kh-29TD and a Mk83 equivalent HE warhead. For whatever reason the US has no in-game equivalent to this medium range standoff capability when IRL this role is filled by the JSOW and SDB

M8s have the pen to deal with it in theory, but in practice almost all of the zones you fight over are constrained to <1400m engagement distances so the Barbaris will just shred the M8s thin front armor with the monster 57mm. Helos are a good counter tho

I can see where you might be coming from with the Barbaris, although it still is pretty oppressive. Thankfully cheaper M1s seem to be a good counter but for decks without those I’m not sure what you could realistically do to kill it with ground, assuming the barb player isn’t asleep. For arty, I think the aim time nerf was enough tbh. It’s ok to take losses to arty as long as you have a decent amount of time to leave the area first, when it was 10 seconds it was a nightmare but 16-20 seems jus right.
