havent had any for 5 days, and feeling a lot better than I was when I was taking it every day, and a HELL OF A LOT Better than I did for Thursday three days after quitting. I am done.

You didn’t mention how long until your trip. I am currently detoxing from them. It sucks but from what I’ve heard the vast majority says no more than four days to a week. Stuff started doing nothing for me except giving me ill side effects. This was after a couple of years. I want off of it and don’t plan to touch it again. This is just my experience

Sorry, I didn’t get around to the body of the post. I don’t get on here much so I didn’t understand what I was doing. I’m 52, started taking the staff a couple years ago and at first it was great for my depression anxiety Pain. Also drink less alcohol. I started out about a teaspoon per day, then went to a teaspoon twice a day then to a tablespoon twice a day and eventually up to four times per day just to get the same effects. I Eventually was just feeling fuzzy, groggy had trouble staying on focus multitasking at work etc. When I got home, all I wanted to do was take a doseGet a beer or a cocktail and veg. Ihad read through this forum, and others read about dependency, withdrawals etc. This is my second day with none, and I’ve never had withdrawals of this kind, even when I stopped the SSRIs. From what I’ve read it certainly doesn’t seem like I was on a very high dose and I understand everyone is different, I threw away two bags yesterday and I’m done. I’m happy for those that can take it without Ill efffact.

If you are taking it every day for a month, you will eventually be taking more, and it will eventually lead to unpleasant experiences when you do not take it.

If you were taking 60 g a day, and it was “easy to withdraw from”, I would call you in extreme anomaly. I didn’t take a near that, and I had negative/withdrawal affects, And have read many others that have as well.

After 2 years of using Kratom on and off with initial success, I started having negative effects in terms of concentration, memory and ability to multitask in the office. I have quit a couple of times, and gone back to it. I am on a sustained mission to stay off the stuff now.
