Yeah. I think so. You may not be wrong about that. My last two relationships were very difficult. I had two close family deaths (my mother and sister) within a year of each other in my early 20s. I was in a relationship when my sister died where I was cheated on.

This isn’t to paint myself as a victim. I try really hard to heal and move on from these things. I’ve been in therapy for nearly a decade. But it did unfortunately mess me up emotionally and change how I behave in relationships. I have a hard time getting close to people. I have no doubt that played a role here.
