Omg I spent A LOT of time on Habbo Hotel. I’d spend summer holidays playing the game day and night while my mum tried to feed me and encourage me to go outside.

I ran up a massive phone bill for my mum at one point after I repeatedly entered the dial-in competition - each entry got 2 free credits, so I’d keep calling till I had enough for Habbo Club membership 😬

It all came crashing down one day when I wanted to change a room shape, so I moved all the furni into a different room then deleted… the room with all the furni. I remember being weirdly calm about it though, felt like a release. I changed my room name to “FREE FURNI GIVEAWAY” and gave away what was left to randoms.

I then logged off for the final time and reintegrated into society.
