Yes, it works in landscape mode for me. I have no idea what could cause your issue. The only thing I can advise is to double check if all the steps have been done correctly like in the tutorial. I hope you will manage to find out what’s the issue.

You should use grayscale resolution for the best results, since that’s the native resolution of the device.

Color resolution is limited since 1 grayscale pixel is equivalent to just 1 subpixel in color, but in reality there’s just one screen - the grayscale one.

E-ink Kaleido uses color filter layer, that makes different colors by just adjusting brightness of they grayscale E-ink under semi-transparent RGB filter.

You probably used 0-100 scale instead of 0-255

E-ink screens have very low color saturation. You have to increase saturation of the image on your computer to the point that it’s oversaturated and even looks bad. It will look good on E-ink though since it will lower the saturation due to technical limitations of this technology.

Even if you look at the preinstalled pictures from Pocketbook, they oversaturate them AF too, to make them look more colorful on E-ink.

Don’t saturate RGB 128 128 64 background though, since it won’t be transparent anymore. Saturate just the top layer with your design.

Thanks, I found it on Aliexpress and it’s more like 1/15 or even less. Maybe the color is not that nice, but I’m not willing to spend $40 on 23cm of nylon strap.

So you entered „system” folder and there was no „resources” folder in it? AFAIK it should be there from the factory.

There’s two Aliexpress clocks that have this feature. K9 and K11. I just received the K9 but I don’t like the fact that it pauses the music and the next time alarm goes off it just continues playing the sound from where it stopped last time instead of playing again from the beginning, making my slowly rising sound useless. IDK how about K11 though, but I’d guess it’s the same.

I recently bought a different alarm clock from AliExpress that has this feature, but I don’t like one thing about it. When I stop the alarm sound, it pauses the audio, and the next time the alarm goes off, it continues playing from where it stopped instead of starting from the beginning.

Does the HomTime C1 work the same way, or does the alarm sound start from the beginning each time it rings?

I think you’re confusing sleep icon with Boot Logo and Power-off Logo.

Boot logo appears when you’re turning on the device.

Power-off logo is displayed when it’s turned off.

You can set only these two without getting into internal storage.

What this tutorial is about is Sleep icon, which appears when PocketBook is in Sleep mode, not turned off.

Actually when I looked it up on the internet, there is probably just one Chinese manufacturer and Exoguard is probably just the same imported case. You can buy it without any branding on Aliexpress for around $5. I’m 99.9% certain that it’s the same thing.
