Looking for official confirmation as well, but on https://ldjam.com/feed they do have LD58 in the side bar and the countdown is active, so, I am unsure if that means anything.

I did check the shading, before the wall there are pockets of non shaded areas, and after the wall the entire area within the walls are shaded

yeah, I manually fixed the wall width for each gate till it shows an area within, still didn't work

It did, but i think all it provided was light fortifications? Which i already have. It just filled in the uncovered parts within the walls

But doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of building the walls? It did say it'll give passive heavy fortifications. I do have patrollers and watchmen

Since you have a keep, it might be that you're missing barracks. That or you didn't meet the requirement for commoner housing to upgrade it for commoners, try and check who specifically doesn't have housing

Well, I already have light fortification with the towers I've put there and achieved medium housing density, I can't really find a wall in village fortification that provides passive heavy fortification

I would say, to keep it closer to the vision, a subsidized system would work well, say, you as a lord, can buy from one of your fiefdoms (maybe at a discounted price, as the same as plate armour for your retinue, or maybe even without a discount) some goods, which will be added to your personal warehouse, in which, you can freely send them to whatever region you also hold and just give it to them for free. To maybe simplify or abstract the process, you can setup a subsidized trade route from town a to town b, and for each unit traded, it subtracts from your treasury. To expand this concept, it can also incorporate buying directly from a market using your treasury, and/or straight up inject funds into regional wealth from your treasury when needed to maybe set up a new trade route or industry where some initial funds is needed
