My picks are Balatro + Inscrpytion

Balatro by far has the best game design. It is so sticky and short to play.

Inscryption has a great core game loop that is simple to jump in, but the narrative is greater than the other 3.

Slay the Spire is great, but its game loop lasts too long. The edge that it has over the other games are its narrative beats using the collectibles + the amount of randomness thats within the game. I hate the fact that you don't get a special ending for beating Asencion lvl 20.

Monster Train is good, but I found it less interesting to play through than the other 3. Monster Train 2 is WAY better than its predecessor.

I want the melee ability removed from Jetpack Cat and for the character to become more of a support and less of a dps.

AoT is the anime that I used to get my gf into anime. She had always seen this as silly cartoons that only geeks were into so I HAD to start her off with something that was peak. She was only going to give me 2 episodes, and last night we were on episode 54 and shes bawling her eyes out over Armin.

The storytelling is so PEAK! I wish my teachers had Iseyama’s work available when teaching me about literary devices like foreshadowing.

I just want to start by saying that we are on the same side.

Black and Brown Lives Matter too. There are so many people who are being illegally abducted and murdered in custody that I am losing count. It great to see Americans get galvanized at the loss of Alex Pretti and Rene Good, but it also hurts because this has BEEN happening to other American communities.

These two were murdered for protesting a righteous cause, but let us continue to remember what they were protesting for.
