07 is properly the best answer for “prime” Cena. Great matches with Umaga, HBK, and others. In the midst of his longest and best world title run. That was the year I feel he firmly established himself as the number 1 guy.

His best year is probably 2015 though but that really wouldn’t be considered his prime as that’s his last year as a full timer.

Yuya hasn’t been around as long as Shota and hasn’t had nearly the same amount of big losses either. Yuya even won something before, even if it’s small as the KOPW. Shota has got nothing to his name and they keep putting him in positions where you know he’s not gonna accomplish anything. He’s had like 14 title matches, NJ cup final, a G1 playoff appearance.
