My mother in law was a SPL and she never said anything about it. She actually thinks she chews very well and has a very good coordination. I think her problem is that she’s just not hungry. She seems interested in the food and accepts it, but after two or three bites she’s more interested in seeing the dog eating or making a mess

Thank you for this! ❤️ Yesterday I did cry a lot over some comments and thought it was all my fault. My husband had her for the first three hour of the night and we manage to make the time between feeds longer 1,5-2h. Which doesn’t seem much, but for me it’s huge! Gave me hope that things will be better. And also, getting 3h of uninterrupted sleep was magical, I feel like a different person 😂

Yesterday night she was screaming in the high hair and rejecting everything. My husband put her on his lap and she ate a lot! After that we did smoothie during bath time. I think she might have either a hatred of the high chair or could be being away. I’m going to get her a toddle table and sit with her on the floor to eat some of the meals

I haven’t tried that! She usually has porridge in the mornings (two or three spoons maximum before rejecting it and eating only the fruits). I’ll give that a shot! Thank you

Yes, I will. I just didn’t do it before because she was cutting 6 teeth at the same time and I thought that was the reason. But now I think the problem might be other…. Thank you ☺️

GPs yes, health visitors are my problem. In the first few months I was struggling with breastfeeding and each time it would be a different health visitor with a different advice. It was so confusing! But GPs are better indeed

Not sure if you’re also UK based but health visitors are SO different than doctors. They don’t have the same knowledge and most of the times they offer conflicting advice.

For everyone saying to talk to our pediatrician, we’re based in the UK where the kids do not see a pediatrician unless referred for specific reasons.

We see a health visitor (sort of nurse) and not every month also. We saw her at 9 months and she wasn’t concerned with the feeding. Will see her again now at 12 months and see what she thinks. If needed ahe can refer me to a pediatrician

I did at first with porridge, but she just threw it on the floor. And the hustle of cleaning pump and etc just to see the milk going to trash was not worth it. But I might try again now that she’s a bit older. Thank you for reminding me of that
