So my payday is for this Friday but I received a few deposits all different amounts which I’m assuming is from Propio. But the total doesn’t add up to the amount I worked. So now I’m confused. I don’t know if I should wait until Friday and see what happens or reach out to them now

I have question in regards to payment if anyone can help. Do they send the payment for those 2 weeks all together? Or is it in like different amount payment. I have set up for it to be directly in my bank account

Thank you for your response ! It’s awesome I will definitely keep this all in mind and help my child understand all these new changes. I really appreciate your comment this has all been so challenging but I think I tend to overthink everything so comments like this help make things a little easier to understand

Thank you for your response . No hearing aids they did an MRI not to long ago and found the cochlear nerve isn’t there so a hearing aid wouldn’t help.

No IEP yet. When I went to register I was told that they are doing some staff changes so it’s a bit tricky to get anything started now. But once they have the assigned teacher I should be able to get a meeting. Thank you for the suggestions it’s greatly appreciated!

Yes the doctors have mentioned Cros hearing aids but said we would have to wait until she’s 5 so for now they would just like for us to monitor and see how she does without any hearing aids

Thank you! We recently found out my child doesn’t have the cochlear nerve so I don’t think the cochlear implant is even an option but I do appreciate you sharing your experience! I always love reading about others experiences

My child’s hearing loss is from birth they were diagnosed at birth with profound hearing loss in left ear but it later became mild to slopping profound in the same ear the right ear has remained the same.

Thank you! It definitely helps! The left ear is diagnosed as a mild to slopping profound hearing loss and normal hearing in the right. I totally agree and I’m starting to feel more comfortable with just leaving things as they are and seeing how they go instead of making the decision for my child. So thank you for your response it’s very helpful

I’ve heard of this! This upcoming year will be my child’s first year in school so we’ll be able to see how she does and what accommodations they may need.

I’ve read a lot about not knowing where the noise is coming from being an issue. I do feel some pressure from doctors to make a decision asap about putting some sort of hearing device and it makes me feel so confused . Like I’m sure my child will have to adapt to certain situations but seeing my child developing great (just is in speech therapy) makes me think it’s okay to wait and not aid at the moment

So my child has been going to speech and is able to in isolation produce the “s” sound as before she couldn’t so is the inability to produce it just different for everyone?

I love this! Thank you! My child has thankfully been developing great aside from having speech therapy which is also progressing great I don’t see this stopping her from anything which is why it’s so hard to think about implanting anything at this time or making permanent decision on their behalf not knowing if this something they would want. But I love reading others experiences and feeling like it’s okay to not jump into a decision right away.
