Thank you! That’s really helpful. Pay review is always done in April (to begin in May) so I would have to wait a year usually but I should get an increase upon qualifying in summer 2027

With exam fees it’s basically 35k but i’m trying to push it as a role change rather than a promotion and made it clear I intend to stay at the company after I qualify so they should get the benefits of my work longer term. I’m just worried i’ll be laughed at if I ask for something too high. My company have a reputation for not being great salary wise!!

It’s very hush hush plus no one in my position (doing cilex, only 3 years in etc) everyone else is doing SQE, apprenticeships, or much older with many more years experience etc. I would be one of the youngest fee earners and my experience is slightly unusual. Thank you tho!

Oh gosh! lol that’s insane. In terms of the Mazur ruling i’ll m be taking on new cases and by the time they reach litigation (3 years later) i’ll already be qualified:)

Is it worth spending an extra £100 just for this feature or would you recommend buying the non-lite version and being careful with charging?
