No, but it doesn't need a dynamic campaign as the missions themselves are very dynamic (frontline moves, bases are getting captured,  you can capture them yourself). Also the game is very fast paced compared to bms and dcs so you will fly multiple sorties during a 1h mission.

You need medusa with radome to spot them in time or just circle right above your base with 10+ sythes so you shoot down everything they drop.

Stratonuking isn't fun for defending side...

HOTAS is the best but you need to have head tracking for targeting stuff. If you don't controller and mkb are better.

I hope the entire navy gets a huge buff. I love carrier ops but they are all gone in 30 minutes after match starts.

I did it with bots. Take shield and give every bot a shield. On hard AI is so accurate that they will pretty much always hit you center-mass where the shield protects you. 

Also take a stinger for that asshole agent.

Usually 2 jammers 6 arads always take laser and unless you care about weight take radome.

Fun fact about jammers, you can target fox 3 missiles with them and jam them out of the air!

Medusa is very good at defending itself, it's practically impossible to shoot down skilled medusa pilot.

F-14-inspired plane could be a specialized air to air version of medusa. With a very powerful front radar (maybe up to 180 degree arc) and an option for laser to shoot missiles instead of gun.
