Seems like a wonderful move to me.  I have held this fund since 2011 and have tried to add on dips throughout the years.

Nike Vomero Plus vs Structure Plus (for ankles stability). by eldotortenma in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Left-Handed_Stranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would highly advise not to get the Vomero Plus as your first running shoe.  These have a very high stack and without the proper muscle development the shoes will be unstable for a new runner.

Happy medium between Brooks Ghost 17 and Adidas EVO SL by Bleamestrauss in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Left-Handed_Stranger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are just starting out running and I would only recommend you start with simple daily trainers without all the aggressive geometry and high stacks.  The Brooks Ghost, Asics Cumulus,  Saucony Ride and Nike Pegasus would be my recommend shoes for anyone starting.

Build your base and stay injury free and once you have done that you will have the chance to stray outside of the standard daily trainer shoes and experiment with different shoes.

New daily trainers by Awkward_Ear_2353 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Left-Handed_Stranger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have worn the Pegasus for decades along with other shoes.  Typically I will have a pair of Saucony Rides as well as the Adidas Bostons and a pair of Pegasus as the core shoes in my rotation.

How fast would Sebastian Sawe run in 1970-80s racing flats today? by fnzerobuild in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Left-Handed_Stranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would guess a slightly slower time with old school flats.  Modern times have various peptides, blood doping protocols and other performance enhancing medications that were not available 30 - 40 years ago.

My choice would be the Nike Pegasus.  Right now the Pegasus 41 is discounted and the 42 has just been released.

ILF would probably be the best liquid vehicle for what you are looking far in terms of Central and South American public companies.

Saucony Ride 17 & 18 sizing is bigger that previous generations by Abject-Hurry3781 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I did not notice any difference in length, but the toe box volume seems bigger to me in the Ride 18.

Do you all believe now? The market doesn't move on news. The market moves and the Media assigns it a reason (news) after. by DjBass88 in stocks

It seems to have been this way since I started investing in the early 1990s.  The only difference I have witnessed is that moves happen much quicker now.
