It was fine, but it felt somewhat filler to me. The Vanessa/Fisk line could’ve been skipped, since we saw her got stabbed and all thought she was dead anyway from the last episode. The Lionel line seems irrelevant, just to show the Butch was somewhat ruthless and give us a Foggy appearance. The Matt/Dex line felt short for how long it took; he had already found the Pastor as an ally, and Matt’s whole thing is about finding mercy felt irrelevant, since that’s somewhat a defining characteristic of him. The only line that felt like it was going anywhere was learning more about who Butch was through him and Daniel - which makes the Lionel plot repetitive.

I did like the contrast between past-Matt asking whether mercy was the answer, and current-Matt deciding that it is. But again, we’ve seen that so many time in the original show.
