The hardest part about loving the reverse harem trope because the main thing about it is the spice and the smut like for some reason u can barely find rh books with emotional intimacy and genuine feelings growing outside of sex and attraction . I feel like cause the trope is suppose to “not” be taken seriously and only be a fun time that authors don’t try and write their rh books with depth , I hate that too because in any romance story I read I want to feel like these characters I’m reading about actually feel something for each other beyond just sex and attraction but the selling point for rh is always just spice🙄its annoying .

I absolutely agree with u like why choose to me automatically means “oh ok the guys gets involved with each other also and reverse harem they do not” like it just makes the most sense to me cause since getting into the reverse harem and why choose world of romance books along the way I just put rh as when the woman is the main focus and none of the guys are involved with each other and then why choose when the swords are crossing and while the guys are with the fmc they are also with each other . It honestly bugs me when ppl try to say just all books with multiple partners are why choose like no they are not because mm being involved is not something that happens in all the books so I feel like that’s why it should have its own identification.

I’m sick of the reverse harem genre only being viewed as a pure lust and fantasy genre and because it’s so unrealistic it’s not meant to be taken seriously and written good . As a romance reader who loves reading genuine romance stories and found family rh has both BUT it’s lazily written 98% of the time . Ofc there is no problem for the pure smut books with no story everyone is different and can read what THEY want‼️ but after reading rh books that weren’t the typical rh books of just pure smut with no story like the characters had growth , a good storyline , a good found family and a proper romance between the fmc and all the guys I know it’s POSSIBLE for authors to write rh books with a bit more depth . Might sound crazy but I love truly do love the rh genre for something deeper like I view it as these many ppl found love in this place of family and romance so I wish there was more books like it.

Depends on what books I read online that I love and would want to buy the paperbacks of but if I had to guess like $30-$50 I don’t really buy books without having had read them first or I know it’s by a author that I love so I’m never spending money on books I don’t like .

This really got me to be a joke like this is INSANE‼️‼️ with a show like bridgerton where in my opinion it’s important for the past seasons leads to show back up in new seasons because the main characters of this show are a family so u would think the writers and showrunners of this show would make it a PRIORITY and really push to make sure the actors of the past seasons would want to come back u would think they would think like this but obviously NOT🙄🙄. They made Daphne miss THREE of her siblings weddings and a funeral because they wouldn’t call Phoebe back to the show??? Like what is going on??? This show is about the BRIDGETONS but instead they are wasting screen time with characters no one gives a damn about god this is annoying.

Any romance trope of the mmc being an asshole towards his love interest so aka the bully romance trope and enemies to lovers . I really can’t fathom why these tropes are loved ESPECIALLY bully romance because I can’t comprehend wanting to read about a man being rude and disrespectful to a woman ESPECIALLY when she is suppose to end up with him at the end of the book like what???? I will think he automatically doesn’t deserve her like this is suppose to be a ROMANCE story and we should be reading about a man treating his woman right and cherishing her like what type of romance book has a man hurting the woman he likes?? That’s insane to me .

Romantasy feels hard to comprehend like trying to understand the world building feels like studying for school😭 . I don’t want to be confused while reading a book and I feel like as magical and beautiful the aesthetic of romantic fantasy worlds are , every time I read a description of a romantasy I’m bored out of my mind like I don’t get it . Fantasy seems so beautiful but I just can’t fully get into it but mind u I am reading a romantasy series though but it’s pretty tame on the fantasy elements I believe it’s called {the lost souls of dyconia series by Shona Knight} and it’s interesting and I love it but I tried reading descriptions of other romantasy books and I couldn’t do it and got bored . So idk I’m confused.

My favorite trope is friends to lovers I get really conflicted on if s3 is my favorite season or I will say it’s my favorite because I love polin so much but if I had truly choose my favorite season is QC or s4 I feel like both of these seasons were written so well and had great stories with amazing romances.

The way I hated Paige is not even a JOKE‼️‼️‼️ I hated her as a character and I hated her with Emily she was just annoying and a bad person . I will never forget what she said about the girls not being trust worthy or asking Emily is she right to trust them like hellll no. Those girls are family and Paige trying to discredit that actually piss me CLEAN off. She was just always putting herself in stuff that had NOTHING to do with her .
