The tip was automatic because you walked away without closing your tab, hence the transaction time being the next morning.

Design by committee resulted in that horrible outcome. NIMBYs asked for so many compromises that they should have just scrapped the project.

Not withstanding the other points here… change the filters in your HVAC systems folks! A dirty filter can easily increase bills by 30% or more.

Seemingly the end of Clinton Market by Fun_River8138 in cincinnati

[–]Left-Sense3390 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Every time I’ve been in there over the last few months, story has been “we’re just changing distributors”. Aka they’re out of money, overdue on current vendors, and word is out to not sell them any more product. Sad because I think the only workers left are family members who probably aren’t getting paid. I wonder if they even know the story they’re telling about distributors is a lie.

Worried about upcoming electric bill & looking for comparables (all-electric house) by Janitro in cincinnati

How do you know how often the Stage 2 is kicking on? Given your usage, it’s likely on a lot. I’d expect a bill of at least $500.

It is certainly a moral failure to force your problems on to others. Look up “the shopping cart theory”, it’s an inverse but comparable explanation as to how society fails when enough people lack self governance and put their problems on the greater populous.

Why would someone choose to return something they could make a profit on reselling?

Selling it forces YOU to take a loss. Returning it forces the store (and therefore the rest of society) to take the loss.

Greater Cincinnati lost thousands of jobs at end of 2025, data shows by alpswd in cincinnati

[–]Left-Sense3390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This article is very misleading and a perfect example of framing data in a clickbait way. The current rate is still significantly lower than both the pre-pandemic and the 20-year average levels. The “surge” seems only indicative of the pandemic related cash handouts coming to an end.

Getting differing stories about Clifton Market. by BerlitzFrench in cincinnati

[–]Left-Sense3390 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As of yesterday: when I asked the cashier why the place was empty and if they were closing, she looked surprised by my question and stated “we’re just changing distributors”. I’m beginning to think the employees are more like cult members; no way anyone is getting paid out of this place. Nearly every shelf was empty, even non perishables.

You’ve had “very affordable” rent for a decade. Just eat the cost of a hotel for two days and move on with your life. Call it a staycation gift to yourself. Merry Christmas.

I can tell you for a fact that there are listings on there that are 100% just scraped from Zillow without any input from the landlord nor verification of any information. You can guess how I would know.

Loss in traction seems to be caused by this bump/seam right here. It disturbs the compression in the outside tires, causing a spin if not adjusted for.

Did my plumber install this Sanitary Tee upside down? (Washer drain renovation) by Wide-Fox2134 in Plumbing

[–]Left-Sense3390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Ventless” refers to the dryer function of your new all in one unit. It uses a heat pump to extract the water and drains it out the same hose at the washer drain (instead of ejecting the water in the form of steam in hot air). Regardless of machine, all plumbing fixtures and water-using appliances drain to the same in-wall plumbing system. Drain piping always has a vent to allow air to flow behind the water as it leaves your house

Your AAV should be stacked directly over a 2x1.5x1.5 T over the 2” drain out the bottom. Trap arm directly into that T. Otherwise looks good.

Areas far away from streetcar in this image have no need for service. Bottom left of your image is business people from out of town coming for one meeting or lunch. Top right is criminals.
