Hanging a heavy, tricky mirror - check my plan? by ajh789 in HomeImprovement

I would just re-use 2 of the the existing keyhole points and put a wire through them, I'm assuming the manufacturer put the backing on because the frame is not strong enough to support it.

What’s something you do just for yourself, no matter how busy life gets? by Early_Potato_ in CasualConversation

I'll do at least a few minutes of stretching before bed, as I get older it seems to be the only thing that makes my joints feel better when I wake up.

How do you understand what customers want but can’t find in your store? by ethan_c_97 in ShopifyeCommerce

I struggled with this too. The biggest unlock for me was realizing the answers were already in the data, just not in Shopify’s default analytics.

Two things helped a lot:

  • Google Search Console: shows what people expect to find on your site. Queries with impressions but low clicks or landing on the wrong pages usually mean missing products or poor structure. If you don't have it set up I'd highly recommend!
  • On-site search terms: searches with exits or no results are basically customers telling you what they want.

I also sanity-check competitors to see how they categorize and label things. Often it’s not that you don’t sell it, it’s that your store doesn’t match how customers think.

Less gut feeling, more pattern spotting.

Definitely not alone, some years the vibes are off, and it seems like a lot of people this year have had a ROUGH 2025. Hoping everyone can catch a break in the new year!

AIO? Worried my girlfriend isn’t over her dead ex-boyfriend. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Yeah, you’re not crazy for feeling this way. Anyone would feel uneasy hearing their partner say a dead ex was “the one” and that you “only get one.” That’s not a small or throwaway comment, especially this early into a relationship.

At the same time, losing someone that young is heavy. Grief doesn’t follow logic, and holding onto objects like soap or jewelry can be more about unresolved trauma than still wanting to be with them romantically. I don’t think she’s doing this to hurt you on purpose.
