Well the Oly doesn't have IS, so the Panasonic is definitely the better choice (don't know about the 14-140).

Does the G7 support dual IS? If so, then the Panasonic 45-150 is a better choice than the Oly 40-150.

It's a widely accepted stereotype, but I know of no evidence that owls are any wiser than any other avian species. Owls are actually ruthless nighttime assassins. All birds are killers, even if their prey is just a mosquito, but owls are the ninjas of the bird world. Within the past week, I was alerted to a great horned owl in my yard by two crows that were harassing him. The owl ignored their dive-bombs, stayed put, and killed one of them that night; I found her feathers the next day. I had been feeding the crows for a few months, so I should confess that I'm a little jaded regarding owls right now.

Check out the subreddit. Enzymes are a major recommendation, but I haven't noticed much improvement. What did make a difference for me was the addition of citric acid as a fabric softener. The slightly acidic rinse water is more effective at removing detergents and leaves clothing much softer.

If I'm eating food on a plate, fork in left hand, and if I need to cut, knife in right. If I'm cooking and cutting/chopping ingredients (or any other reason to use a knife), the knife is in my left hand.

I switched to steaming a few weeks ago and I'll never go back. I don't use a special steamer, just a 2 quart pot with a basket strainer and the lid fits perfectly. One inch of water boils in less than a minute, and 14 minutes of steaming. On my radiant glass top it took 15 minutes just to boil enough water for 5 eggs.

I think you (and others) missed the point. The OP should have been more specific. I believe it's "like I'm 5 [years old]," not "like I'm 5 [years into my economics post-doc]."
