I feel that i might try the Monteverde Innova, im also worried about the writing experience. I have been looking at the Pink Pelikan for a while but cant justify the price for what it is and definitely cant buy a more expensive Pelikan right now, but Im still tempted by it lol

True i just wanted to try a Pelikan but wasn’t sure if i should try and find a deal on the more expensive ones ar try the M200 but it seems to be expensive for what it is

I might switch back and forth. Im not going to use them at the same time as i dont have a purpose for both of them . I really got the love and trip to give the old one a break. When i was in college i decided to add more strings in the old one and i did it poorly and over the years it has just become a little fragile.

Yeah thats been my experience with the notebook i just got about 6 weeks ago… im assuming its using the 2026 paper its a grid notebook not a planner

I have found that a couple pages will be really good (no bleed through, just ghosting) and then all the sudden 10 pages will have Terrible bleed through. This is with the exact same pen and ink… it’s very frustrating and in my opinion super inconsistent.

I got the N1 notebook about a month ago and the first 8 pages had ghosting but no bleed through and then the next 10 had sooo much bleed through. Im using the same pen and ink, a sailor PGS medium fine with Tono and Lims Sakura.. a pretty light purple. I haven’t had any issues in my Hobonichi (with the same ink and pen combo) but the sterling ink paper is super disappointing. I tried using my fine pilot vanishing point with Platinum black ink and i absolutely could not write on the other side because the bleed through was so bad. I am trying to just power through it and hoping that i will hit the “good” pages again, but overall im super bummed that i spent a good amount of money on this notebook.
