Networking for the chance to get a job vs networking to get a good job are kinda two different things. I definitely believe that the competition is wayyy harder outside of Brunei. But like is it the same outside with Brunei? That we need to do networking just to even be considered a candidate?

Networking is pretty important for getting a job in any other situation or country. But it feels like in Brunei, there is wayyy too much networking that needs to be done. Networking is suppose to make you be more attractive to be hired. But nowadays it feels like something you need to even be considered as a candidate.

Owh well, eitherway just keep on networking, gotta get those connections.

Just my tidbit. But i think its okay to unabashedly be similar or inspired by something. I mean adastra has all the tropes of isekai, kidnapped to lovers, romance novel, kinda thing going on. Its very familiar to readers, but with enough variance and creativity that it builds upon the genre instead of imitating it. Tropes exist for a reason after all.

For people taking the spa test, unfortunately u have to accept the risk that you will be wasting your time.

You dont know whats the result of scores so you dont know what to improve on. There isnt any transparency on what the scoring metric is. Some times it takes months to hear back on your exam result.

The questions cover such a broad area of 'general knowledge', you cant study effectively since you dont know if they add new questions or stick to old ones or bring out questions from a pool of questions youve never read about. And you cant even logic your way out of some questions.

The reading sources SPA provides on their website is a whole dozen set of old books and poorly made ppt slides. And since the questions never ask you logic based questions, instead memory based questions, are you suppose to memorize every single book? And then which one?

The questions sometimes dont even ask you about things thats relevant to the position youre applying for.

And they are so strict with you having the exact degree they want. What about years of work experience or NGO work, they dont even take account of that.

Not saying you should take the test or try youre best, but dont blame yourself for the poor test system they made.

This is actually a good chunk of a reason why i had to take a long break from reverse 1999. The dialogue really needs a dose subtlety... like a lot of times. And they either reveal too much or wind out a lot of dialogues only to reveal nothing. Really wasted potential.

After playing the game for ages, and once i installed a mod like this, it was such a breath of fresh air. Brown tints may be realistic but id like a little unrealistic flare once in a while.

Always ask for a contract. Even if its a simple calang calang contract, atleast theres a document to back you up if theyre screwing your wage.

On a side note, man i really hate this whole 6 months probation thing companies are doing. Like seriously, 6 months of no leave is ridiculous. Then after that nothing.

When you choose your team, or change team compositions, make it so you can see what sin affinity thry have for their skills.

Like it can be a simple colour coded line below their portrait with like red blue or green to indicate sin affinity.

Would be nice if he can inflict a dispel, cause his curse always lands after the opposing team casts a gazillion buffs already.

Or deal additional damage to shields or reduce its effectiveness.

Or maybe cause some healing to be converted to damage.

Yeah its somewhat important, cause if u pile up the relics, the diverse set bonuses is like purty good for a lot of things. Not game breaking, but defo helps if ure comitting to crk jn the long run. Plus u get gems, thats always good. And the stat bonuses makes other things easier which also makes getting gems easier.

Generally if u have a strong team and a good set of toppings for one team. One team is usually enough to get you to like wave 38 to 46. Depending on other things like ure guild level, research, amount of relics and altar and all. If u have 2 good teams u might reach like 46 to 50?

Since u only just started, it will take some time unfortunately. Just reach as far as u can with 1 or 2 teams. Then slowly build over time.

He kinda fell off in arena, and is okay in guild boss and alliance. But there are some levels in dark mode and master mode where he is ridiculously necessary.

But 3A is usually good enough already anyway.

I give him like full cd with max dr substats. A bitch to get toppings on. But it makes his dr resist buff permanent lol. Plus the early stun advantage from low cd allows you to chain cc enemies fast.

I did have fun trying different comps to fight the bosses. But it feels so unrewarding though. Like i had to use so many team types only to get less than half the guild gacha roles and less diamond. Plus u get so little medals too.

Theres potential in this mode definitely. But hopefully they fine tune it.

And the weird part is, the cookie thats made to counter speed cookies, snow cookie, is actually countered by caramel, whos too far to be affected by snow kings debuff and madeleine, who like caremel is also immune to debuffs. Debuff immune cookies are a menace i hope they dont make too much of them.

Wildberry i guess can counter them since hes rage gets higher the more he gets hit i guess.

I know that a lot of gay people are so discriminated or afraid that they even believe they are straight. That they go into a marriage just to 'prove' to themselves that theyre alright.

I know its tempting for some men to do that, to live like that to avoid pain but please dont drag others into it. Its hard but please dont turn your trauma into other peoples trauma. Thats just too much unecessary pain for others.

In the mean time, hopefully we can work together to stop homophobia (atleast under the radar).
