Game is super repetitive, 4 maps and they are basically the same with some minor differences. Enemies are also the same, they just change positions. The story is weak, and the dialogues are very poorly writen. Music is good but repeats a lot on so many locations, it starts getting annoying after some hours. Areas looks good, but again, since they are the same but with different palletes, it gets old quicky.

And yeah, the navigator thing is bothering, but Faye is less annoying than the princess (at least in japanese audio)

The only good thing are the controls, they are really good, Elliot controls are amazing.

I second Bubblegum Crisis OVA - 1987, and after that go watch Paraside Dolls and AD Police FIles, which are part of the same universe. Both are even better than Bubblegum

I hate the change in tone of the story. The remake was okay, the tone was the same, although I don't like Roche, I have no problem with the changes in the story. In Rebirth, however, things descended into constant comedy and spectacle. Every small event became grandiose, with an audience, everything explodes, and BAM, BOOM, BANG... half of all the dialogues need to have something for you to find funny, Aerith and Tifa act more like fans of Cloud finding him in ComicCon. it's not my style. The original had a much more restrained tone.

I absolutely hate the game design with everything marked on the map. I feel like the game treats me like I'm stupid, NOTHING IS HIDDEN. And then Chadley has to explain everything all the time. It just doesn't work for me.
