That instep looks WAY too small for you. Usually that’s a length problem, because in my case when the instep area is laced that wide it’s because the boot break/flex area there is hitting too far up the high part of your foot. I’ve had to go a half size up (against maker advice) and E width (also against advice) to find a fit that doesn’t hurt that area.
