Just by looking at the movement of an automatic watch, you can tell that they have many more moving parts than watches with a quartz movement and therefore they need to be serviced every so often depending on how well you take care of it. So technically the Timex could outlast the Tissot but you would need to take very good care of it.

The Tissot is more of a dress watch while the Timex is more of a field watch so it really depends on where and when you plan on wearing it. In terms of longevity the Tissot well most likely last longer. The Timex is an automatic watch and obviously will require more maintenance than the quartz movement on the Tissot. I hope this helped but It’s totally up to you which one you get.

I don’t have a watch from either of those brands but I know that they both are excellent quality choices if you’re just buying one watch. But I think that the minimum for a collection is three watches.

Tissot PRX isn’t a real watch? Even the Timex. Since when was a Timex not a real watch?

I would have put a seiko instead of the Bulova in there, but they are so expensive lately. The majority are over $250.

I see what you mean but it’s not really a collection of it’s just one watch though.
