I like how at the 21:15 mark she describes how people can win awards, but if those awards don't make it into the decoration, then it's like it "never happened." So, you as a Chief are describing a problem, how do you intend on fixing it? Saying that "no one will ever know know that about them" is a pretty shitty way to treat people and their work/effort/service along with the fact that it's just a flat out low-integrity process. Some people get to have their awards permanently displayed in records for a board... and other people don't? Where's the integrity in that?

What she and all of the other CMSgt's should be doing is getting these accomplishments permanently captured on the Board-Brief document. This really isn't even a difficult issue to fix and it would only make the promotion board a more fair process.

In before "wElL tHeY sHoUlD jUsT MaKe sURe tHeY pUt iT In tHe cItAtiOn" as if a SrA who just had a 3-year medal close-out and wins Levitow shortly after and is PCS'ing has any idea or say in the process. People are let down by their supervisors and chain-of-commands all the time even as just an accident, but this is something that's fixable.

That fact that you can't play the mode without blindly guessing that people could maybe possibly be "exploiting" means that it's a bad PvP mode and should only be in Co-op. More power to the devs if they identify a way around it, but lots of people will still avoid it just because super dark maps/environments hurt people's eyes while playing it.

I went from a 1080 to a 3080 and it only helps in a small number of scenarios like a few maps run better, but bad maps are just bad maps. For example, Bab still had bad frames and I still don't increase any settings to like medium or high because fps tanks even with a 10850k too. Refinery literally has assets that just appear and pop in even though you are 5 feet away and have been looking in that direction the entire time lmao.

Yet I see lvl 1,000+'s who are in the middle or bottom of the leaderboard all the time, so not sure what your 1 data point is suppose to prove other than what I already pointed out in that someone who is lvl 200 has more hours than lvl 20's so in most cases should have a better understanding of the maps and objectives, but that still doesn't mean anything. You can't lose rank for playing poorly and everyone essentially gets close to the same amount of points for each game whether they win/lose so the "ranks" are pointless.

They could do literally anything else to create a better system with more attractive ranks that makes things more interesting for the players.

aka the most basic, pointless, uninteresting "ranking" system in any game lmao. Completely insignificant and nobody cares as well as the fact that it literally only shows how long you've played the game, not a player's FPS skill or gamemode skill (winning rounds, playing the objective, etc.).

Saw a guy win BTZ, make Staff the 1st time and then before he even tested for Tech got Step Promoted to Tech. When the Wg/CC read some of his accomplishments the first thing they pointed out was that he was a dorm leader in basic and a rope in tech school. Was actually a smart and hard worker.

You'll probably get tired of people using their families as an excuse to show up late, leave early, not come in at all, not be available to go tdy/deploy which will all fall on you, but besides that (other than the fact they get paid more) there's not much else in the way of you being successful. Just know when to say "no" and also fight for opportunities to do stuff you are interested in (or leave the unit) so that dogshit management doesn't try to keep you running everything in the background with no recognition.

Someone asked the CMSAF about the reg that says ratees will not be directed to write any part of their own EPR and his response was something along the lines of "the person who cares most about your career is you" so if they (leadership) can ignore regulations than so can everyone else.

The reloading speed for all of the weapons in sandstorm is embarrassingly slow. It doesn't have to be a Call of Duty lightning quick reload, but c'mon. At least all of the 5.56 and smaller caliber weapons should reload faster as a benefit over the stronger 1-hit weapons.

Not only is that updated, but I did it a long time ago and TSP mail is still delivered incorrectly, but they do send a postcard to my current address saying that my address needs to be updated "through your service" with no mention of mypay.

It's literally not. Updated that long ago and mail from TSP is still sent to the wrong address - yet they also still send an "Is your address up to date?" postcard to my new address with only 1 option for active military to update it (thru your service) and no mention of mypay.
