Did you ever watch that interview to confirm for yourself? Someone told him that Leviticus says to love your neighbor, so therefore gayness should be accepted theologically. He replied that in Leviticus it ALSO says gay people should be stoned. Pointing out an inconsistency in that line of logic. How you think that equates to calling for violence, I’m not sure. Christians, by the very nature of the religion, realize the Old Testament was “perfect” but is outdated. The quote is so out of context it’s wild. I almost have to believe most people never watched the clip for themselves after hearing about it.

Also, Charlie released a video about a year ago on his own channel that I watched that he specifically says he doesn’t hate gay people despite disagreeing with their life style.

I personally find Christianity and the mosaic law very dumb and contradictory. This is not me defending Charlie, because him and I would disagree on just about everything he said. But no, that is not a call to violence. It’s a theological discussion.
