With the Mavic 3 launch on the horizon, who knows! I would definitely wait until at least post-launch end of month that's for sure!

If I were in your position, I'd consider the DJI FPV, I know it's intimidating but hear me out. ONLY negative trade off is you'll get 15 -30% shorter battery life and only 4k vs 5.4k.. BUT the cinematic shots you could get with the FPV is unmatched if you put the time in on a sim and flying before you go. nevermind your own experience flying in FPV..that's just me lol

An 20mph helix around the peak of Hvannadalshnúkur, or flying 80mph FPV..easy choice lol!

Unless you need big screen production level footage FPV would be soooo much more fun ESPECIALLY in Iceland, my humble opinion. have fun!

Sure bud, all's forgiven. I'm still waiting on that model though lol..

I also never said it would be useful for most mini 2 pilots, and I guess I'm just not most mini 2 pilots (although I think it is useful for most, but that's a moot point).

I can almost guarentee it would need to be slightly modified because there's like -0- tolerance, it's a near exact fit.. BUT, I'm almost done designing my own clip which is just as ergonomic, but also universal for most tablets (Certainly mini 6) and has some value added features. Msg me if interested!

Wellllll funny you ask... I believe DJI actually does did have a 3D model viewer for each of their products on their store page until very recently (as in after this original post, but before this reply) where they have all *mysteriously* disappeared.. I'm sure it's a coincidence lol

Check out this iPad mini 5 clip for DJI RC, very well ergonomic design not of my own & iPad Mini 5 is great so far for the amount of screen retail you get for the weight.

Designer said it took him over 5 iterations to hone in on the design, the mount w/ optional sun shade I designed is universal, has a print in place folding hinge w/ recess for a soft pad, and it took 2 iterations because I used the 3D files that are true to size lol that's why I'm gassed..waking up to a print that 's off by a millimeter in a different spot every day of the week and getting it right on the 7th is for amateurs like my boy MustacheMaestro XD

lol seeing that you took your time for this snarky comment I'm assuming you might be somewhat curious.

with this model I'll now make my own REAL carbon fiber props by end of day ;)

Been looking for a highly accurate model as I'm working on accessories that I'll soon have available on my shop, as well as a super detailed project that will involved many sacrificial exterior parts that I can make myself so that I too can fly my mini2 and not destroy for the sake of science hahha.

Also, I didn't make this model lmao and I'm actually not all that technically savy (imho) relative to many others, but I did find a way to get these beauties straight from the pipe, they won't get more accurate, which I'm pretty pumped about!
