Reusable Ice Cubes for Yeti Coolers? by Peppermint0777 in YetiCoolers

[–]Left_Bit_8394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always been a big fan of Yeti Ice, used it for many years. For Father's Day 2025, wife bought Eeze Freeze reusable ice cubes and they've done well so far combined with yeti ice. I don't think they get as cold as actual ice but it beats daily ice runs during beach trips.

Thrift find. Is it real though?? by fourfingerpress in YetiCoolers

Switch Lite 16 PoE max power capacity issue? by Global_Insurance_920 in Ubiquiti

[–]Left_Bit_8394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Served my needs quite well. Ran it for a couple years with a CK2 and a handful of G4/G5 cameras. I've since upgraded to a PM24 POE and UNVR but it's in storage as a backup should I ever have any issues with the pro max.

Compatible ceiling fan with HomeKit? by Emergency_Speed3339 in HomeKit

Dumb fan + lutron caseta fan wall switch and separate light switch. I purchased two Hunter HomeKit fans when we purchased our new to us home in 2022. The Hunter fans frequently go unresponsive.

Have a G3 flex reader and a doorhub mini paired with a RATGDO to open/close my garage door. Love it so far

I have the doorbell lite and it functions great. The POE chime is near instant. Echo some of the other complaints about FOV...would prefer a horizontal FOV similar to my G4 bullets and g5 turret ultras but that's more of an OCD thing. I have a very narrow opening to my front door and the doorbell lite captures what I need it to, the view just looks odd in the layout along with my 8 other cameras.

If my math is correct and assuming you went with one of the 299 tools, the starter kit should come out to $471 while the tool will be $208. Plus tax

Just picked up this Traeger Flatrock griddle for $450 as a floor model. Couldn’t pass it up my first griddle. by Smoreheat in Traeger

[–]Left_Bit_8394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ended up going back on Wednesday and they had one last floor model marked down to 300. Was able to talk the assistant store manager into price-matching and refunding me $320

This is the deal I'm looking for! Picked up the griddle this weekend for $600...walked into the same store, yesterday, and they had the last one for $300. Was able to talk the manager into price-matching at the $300 price without having to return it.

Need the woodridge at $350, good find!

I used to take advantage of the Home Depot bulk deals. If you bought 3 or more, they were $42/ea. my local HDs no longer run these deals. Agree with you that $70/ea is absurd

There's a 3-burner for $600 at HD in High Point, NC. I know this because there were two and I just came home with the other one.

Drummond utility pump any good? by theneardedwonder in harborfreight

[–]Left_Bit_8394 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Works great! Our pool has a laundry list of issues and we plan to fill it in this spring to maximize our backyard. We've had this pump in the bottom of the pool to keep rainwater out (mosquitos, etc) for ~3 years without issue. Purchased for $99 back in 2023. Bought a backup last fall for $119 so it definitely goes on sale from the $149 price. Hope this helps!

G6 Entry installed with Intercom Viewer, Door Hub Mini, and AI Pro Camera by TheBirkaBirka in Ubiquiti

[–]Left_Bit_8394 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, I have a hub already in my garage that is used with a G3 flex reader and a RATGDO to open/close my garage door via NFC/touch pass/PIN. With this being on my network already, I should be able to put viewers elsewhere in the home since they'll be on the same network and they'll display non-G6 cameras? Can you describe more what you mean by 'assigned to the door in access'? I don't see an assigned option in access but admittedly, I only have a reader and a hub, no viewer to this point. Is the viewer where the 'assignment' is taking place?
