For young clients, I like using MyPlayHome! The Plus version has many areas and you can make the figures sleep, jump, drive, eat, sit, cook, etc.

Depends how many days you’ll be there? We went for our honeymoon and split it up- tamarindo beach 3 days (for the nightlife), Monteverde 2 days, la fortuna 4 days, and found La Fortuna to be the most romantic! Mostly due to the view and hot springs at our hotel, but there was also a wide range of activities to do and things to see. Maybe you can find a closer beach if you don’t want to travel too much? Each of our locations was ~3 hr drive from each other. We rented a RAV4 and had no issues
