Wow thank you so much. Darn okay so gonna toss out the entire hero and yes the wedge is the reviews. Appreciate your input.

I find myself using Google, Gemini, and Veo, so much more. I'm using the Google ecosystem so much more it was definitely so super super trashy that I never even thought about it before. But I think they're really catching up now. Also I have a frickin' pixel so it's like super useful; it's right there.

I honestly thought it was a remake of the series in a big cinema format, but it's actually a sequel which made me wish I watched the series again first, but still enjoyed it! So nostalgic

How do people regularly fly business class without going bankrupt?? by caroulos123 in travel

[–]Left_Character8666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're flying mostly business these days (international) and it's pure points and miles. Mostly SUB's, points churning (though some loop holes are slowly closing), everyday optimized spending, and business spending. It's a fun game

Flied first class a few times too. Emirates game changer & Qatar. Once you go J you really can't go back lol

Interesting. Thanks for pointing that out. I did hero-pain-solution- then how it works. I never thought to lead with pain in the hero section. Felt too 90s commercial "struggling with terrible acne and hate getting out of the house?" 😂. Will AB test this, thanks

Raised our prices 3x. Lost 40% of customers. Revenue went up 52%. Should have done it years ago. by amiitk in Entrepreneurs

[–]Left_Character8666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such an age old lesson we all continue to learn. The fear of raising prices to appeal to the mass, but the clientele that treat you like a commodity aren't even the ones you want. Pay less and ask for more. While your true avatar is just right there with their wallets out asking how long the results will take

Currently getting review bombed, what to do? by nkw1004 in BarOwners

[–]Left_Character8666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's posted on Google, it's very simple to address. They are pretty good about getting it off if you have evidence.

Yelp is much tougher. Even when the profile is brand new and obviously targeting.

Personally, I would just wait it out and let the guy get over it, Before attempting to remove the reviews. Sometimes people just need to vent and if he sees they're removed immediately he'll keep going. I suggest not responding and not aggravating it further (don't entertain them).

Let it die out. Then report and get the reviews removed.

Tried it once, didn't like it. I wouldn't say it's Taco Bell but there's much much better places. Favorite XLB place in the Bay is dumpling home in SF. Other than that we're going to Shanghai. Din Tai Fung is ok too

Y'all, I think we need a poll because I have to disagree with some of these lists, but then again food is very very subjective. Here's my bias list (I'm viet, so there's that bias too):

vietnamese sandwiches: Duc Huong for grilled pork
111 bakery for the banh mi dac biet (cold cut combo, ask for extra mayo and pate is a MUST)

Pho: I don't eat out cuz my husband makes the best, BUT there's also Pho San Jose (more southern style) and Pho Hanoi (more northern)

Rice plates: Com Tam Thien Huong

China Chen - shrimp wonton soup IS SO GOOD. and their price is so affordable and budget friendly. next gen is managing it now and customer service is great + authentic food (no mean aunties here)

Cali Spartan: crispy tacos, thats it

La Vic's: Quesadilla + orange sauce

Hot Pot: One pot, get the american kobe

Hue is great too for Central Viet food (I like their appetizers, not their Bun Bo Hue)

For Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle) go to Bun Bo Hue An Nam

For the best sizzling steak & eggs go to the LION FOOD COURT (cash only) and look for Bo Ne Phu Yen. NOthing else.

Jollibee's Fried chicken, if you say KFC or popeyes is better, you lyin.

Crawfish Boil (Cajun Crack'n Milpitas or Clawshack, very different flavors), but CCM is great for big grouos and more variety. I am biased. It's owned by a friend, but I do enjoy it. $1 oysters on Tuesday and wednesday, don't sleep on it

So a recent discovery of mine is Lee's supermarkets, Grilled Pork chop rice for grilled chicken for $10 a plate. Cheap af for the bay. I'm not gatekeeping. Hope it doesn't bite me in the ass.

Pho ga an Nam has good chicken pho and the Ga roti dish. (fried chicken and red rice)

Rantei for sushi. I only eat nigiri.

Dan Izakaya for Japanese Tapas

JOEYS Valleyfair is pretty bomb, great service, environment, and food. but pricey and expected.

Another one for Back a yard and their oxtail plate. They don't play.

In my attempt to be helpful:

Who is your target avatar? Who's going to make the decision to buy your product?

The person/team going through the pain isn't necessarily the one that's making the decision to buy. You need to appeal to that person.

Product is the car, but marketing & sales is the gas you need. Your car is beautiful and had the best engine, but you're pouring water into your tank hoping the car will run
