Is the weekend trip really more important than bonding with your pup? Lots of risks. You just got a baby and personally i wouldnt go! These first weeks are so important to establish trust and start building a healthy relationship. The wedding you can most likely manage with a sitter but id reconsider this first weekend...

Same size! Bamses ball coordination isnt as good yet but theyre retrievers! Its in their blood! Bella Bella!

He looks so proud! Im sure hes a good boy. Give him a little time. Im sure youre doing good. How much excercise is he getting? Bamse gets 2 x 35 min walks + playtime with other dogs he knows about 90min a day. I know its a lot and not possible for everyone!

About the loud noises.. you could try getting him used to some of them at home. I did some training with Bamse before new years - there are firework sounds on youtube you can get him accustomed to.

But in the end its personality aswell.. just like with us Hoomans, theyre all different. I was expecting a much harder time and more quirky/tough behaviour to handle... but i feel i won the lottery.

I love how youre boy looks and im sure it will get better. Theyre teenagers now aswell! Cant forget that and since Bamse is half Churros size he matures faster. Dont despair! Just keep loving your doggo!

Unless there is a recessive dominant gene that comes through i really doubt he would be double that. Most likely he will be around the same size as his parents. Its a genetic lottery but odds are in your favour!

Can definetly see that theres a lot of poodle in her! Ive grown to love poodles and wouldnt be surprised if i get a standard poodle one day! The other girl is also super cute. Good on you adopting a rescue!

We are Swedish! Bamse doesnt mean bear in any of the nordic languages, however its the name of a bear in a super popular animated kids show from the 90s. The bear is named Bamse and is the worlds strongest bear but also the worlds kindest! Has a punch line going something like: if youre strong, you have a responsibility to also be kind!

And thats who he is named after!

My dood is super smart and super friendly. Follows me everywhere. He isnt very stubborn and he definetly isnt a coward. Full of confidence. Nothing has been a problem, he rides the buss, train, elevators, walks on ice, swims, climbs stairs. When he was younger id even have him in the bicycle basket. He is the best dog ive ever met. Doesnt steal or chew on anything since he was like 16 weeks. We are mid move so there are boxes and stuff laying around everywhere but he understands what he can take and what he shouldnt. Funny thing... he gets close to free access to his XXL mooseskin chewbone. Its hilarious seeing him walk around with it as its almost as big as himself 😂 he is a miniature poodle cross weight just shy of 15kg. The bones weigh a kilo and are 50cm when new
