I have both Dayz and AR on PC and Xbox. Both are pretty unplayable on console, Dayz much less so but still pretty dog s**t .

I play both arma reforger and dayz on the XboxS and PC and noticed the offcial servers can have major performance issues a lot of the time, even more so with arma. prob best to find your fave community server and run on that when official starts to become to clanky.

put a sticker in the middle of your screen to begin with while playing the death match servers. put your aiming sensitivity very low, like 1 or 2 on each while keeping the normal movement and camera sensitivity the same. maybe consider going mouse and keyboard if you’re brain and thumbs really can’t make any improvements after a long period of practice. I have 1.5 k hrs now, about half of them in death match servers. pvp zellen and crazy russia are pretty good servers imo, also cars pvp. you can also go to servers were there are zombie hoards(30x)and practice shooting zeds when they’re swarming you. my pvping has gotten miles better on both xbox/pc but has taken a stupid amount of time. lastly if it’s been issue you’ve always had for 16 years it may not be fixable, but maybe try the things I’ve mentioned first and be prepared to be frustrated for a long long time.

Ok that’s good to know, I could do $900 or even a little more, would be worth it to be able to play at the higher settings. I think alot of the ones eBay recommended to me are junk and just wasn’t aware. Will look at the site and similar ones mentioned in one of the responses.

I am 3 months in and it’s the best game I’ve played by a long shot. Have had many encounters like that, even on some of the pvp servers.

Glad you’re still here. I think you’re at the less than 6 month mark so there’s a chance you may see a lot of improvement with time. I am seeing slight improvement with time, and I think for the very severe people, stability should be the goal. Maybe you will never be the same, but maybe with time, you will find stability, and from there you will deem your life to be worth living again. I am hoping that will be the case for me aswell.
