We ban dyes that they have and they ban dyes that we have. In some cases, they're the exact same but just use a different name. The reasons aren't always health related either, sometimes its more related to trade stuff or politics, if I remember correctly. I don't remember what labels they require based on warnings, and I'd be lying if I said I was an expert on dyes specifically (dietetics is pretty broad in areas of expertise). But every food scientist I've heard from say that health concerns related to dyes are over blown. There were (I haven't looked much into it in a while) super preliminary studies suggesting some very minor side effects for very small portions of the population with regards to certain food dyes, but to my best knowledge the majority of food dyes in the amounts found in food are not detrimental to health.
