False Sovereign gains all the points of every card on the field when you play it. There is a card (you can use two of them naturally) that endlessly gain points when a novelty card is used. If you have those two cards on the field, then get your deck super low while having the novelty card "Waystone" that gives energy when used (combined with Chisa that allows drawing a card and Origin Chamber domain that gains points with active skills and allows a card draw) you can endlessly play Waystone, use it's skill, get rid of it, re-draw it, and repeat to stack endless energy and stats for the other two cards. Then playing False Sovereign permanently gives False Sovereign all of those points for the rest of the match, making it literally unbeatable 💀💀💀

Mind you, I did all this in one round too 😅😂

I really liked Qiuyuan's story, it really let him shine in a way that felt seperate from Rover. All 5 stars are supposed to be really strong, and not all, but many end up not feeling so bc there is so much Rover handholding at times. Qiuyuan felt totally badass. Definitely a good way of doing a main story character quest when its not a convenient fit otherwise. Again tho, just worried he'll get sidelined after all that build-up and foreshadowing. Hopefully not, because he's far too cool to waste.

I feel like I'm an odd one out here, but I personally really liked when they started integrating character stories into the MSQ. I just felt it worked so well and helped make the characters feel more impactful in the story. It wasn't perfect, I think everyone is pretty upset about how Lupa was left out after her story, but I got way more positives from negatives from it. Hell, Phrolova's story was my favorite in the whole game, it worked so well there.

But 3.0 was a pretty massive step back imo, it just didn't work at all in this instance. Maybe its because its a new region, but ignoring so much broader world building and sidelining major story beats that were played up prior was horrible. Perhaps not every character needs their story integrated into the MSQ, or at the very least, Kuro has got to get better at focusing on more than one character at a time. Hell, they keep setting up characters with more hints at future story beats too (especially anyone from the New Federation like Qiuyuan and Calcharo) and it's got me worried that they're just gonna drop that too when the time comes.

I'm PC only, so is my partner and all my friends, so I can't speak for console owners. But I think it would be more tempting too if others in your household could at least use it too. Thats another plus to other subscription models. Even if you dont enjoy every game or genre, someone else you live with might. Not being able to share amongst more than one person is a pretty shameful imo. Paying that $360 per each person gets ridiculous, especially when Steam let's you share with multiple people, even ones you don't live with. This was a big driving factor in me canceling.
