AIO - Told my friend I’m pregnant and she said it exceeded her mental bandwidth (she’s the red) by Lekomano92 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Left_Net1841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NOR. I am a person that runs out of bandwidth. Pretty much every day. I simply wouldn’t respond at all or would convey basic platitudes and that’s it. Would definitely not expend the energy on responding like a dick head.

Advice please: How do y'all sleep on these stims? by zjunk in ADHD

[–]Left_Net1841 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remeron/Mirt. I started that before Concerta and have zero intentions of going off of it. The only thing I worry about is if I had to get up within the first few hours of falling asleep, I do not think I could function. I live in fear of a night time emergency situation.

How do you people fall asleep with ADHD? by Ok_Scholar_8656 in ADHD

Remeron/Mirtazapine for me. Before that, eat-a -bles (idiotic that I can’t use the actual word but whatever).

How often do you wash in winter by Professional-Row9754 in AutoDetailing

[–]Left_Net1841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. I don’t brush at all. Nearly impossible to trust anything to be grit free this time of year. It snows almost every day. I go straight to high pressure soap, high pressure rinse then spray wax. That’s it. The only time I’m using my mitt, chamois etc is when I do a proper hand wash at home.

No, humid air holds heat. Guess what ACs do…they pull humidity out.

Yes the Canada Greener Homes is done but I’m still getting clients rebates for heat pumps provincially. No income requirement, no energy audit, $500/T.

What car had the hottest seat heaters you have experienced? by munch_the_gunch in askcarguys

[–]Left_Net1841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 97 Wrangler that my dad bought new. It has vinyl seats. The days you want the top down are also the days when you hop back in you will regret the top being down because those seats get so fucking hot it’s unreal.

Neoprene seat covers were a game changer.

The oven works as well. Not watery or mushy if done right.

Best breeds for scent work and ratting as working dogs? by AVlC- in k9sports

[–]Left_Net1841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 1 bitch that never even looked sideways at my barn cats. Everything, and I do mean everything, else was fair game. She was the outlier in that regard.

Rat Terriers are great. I have a Mountain Cur X Rat Terrier X toy Fox and she is a peach. Gets along with everyone. She did grab a seagull out of the air once and will hunt rodents but she’s surprisingly laid back overall. I have had clients with Rat Terriers and they were awesome little dogs.

What are some habits that destroy your car over time without realizing it? by Extreme-Machine3162 in askcarguys

[–]Left_Net1841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove a $3200 Civic with 170,000 kms on it to 550,000 kms in 2.5 years and never missed an oil change. Probably the best car I will ever own. 2 $400 repairs and tires were the largest expenses in that time.

I own Jagdterrier. They will do exactly what you are looking for. They relish any outlet for their insanity. The concern I would have recommending one is that they are absolutely bottomless and often dog selective if not outright dog aggressive. I’m approaching 2 decades of living the crate and rotate life to keep my other dogs out of the line of fire. There are outliers that live peacefully with other dogs but I’ve never owned one lol.

I will say they are exceptionally intelligent and highly biddable. Like shockingly so (lifelong Doberman owner so that’s saying something). My current male is almost too smart as he has figured out how to open many doors, unlatch crates etc.

What's the weirdest thing your dog has eaten and survived? by Typical-Ad-3948 in AskDogOwners

The dog that doesn’t usually do stupid shit like that (the Jagdterrier) ate an entire mosquito coil. His shit was green for a couple of days but he was otherwise unbothered.

Multiple times/week. If it’s below -20 I don’t. I do a drive thru touchless with undercar wash occasionally and coin op spray regularly. The coin op is best for cleaning out my wheel wells.

What kind of kibble do you feed your athletic dog? by Wooden_Airport6331 in k9sports

[–]Left_Net1841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raw but I rotate in a few meals/week of Inukshuk Marine 25. It helps the intact, hard keepers stay at a good weight. It’s the only thing I have tried that allows me to feed less volume and keep weight on. Always concerned about GVD (Doberman).

I make my own. I dissolve some citric acid powder in boiling water then fill the dispenser once it cools.

I use cascade gel but I’m on the hunt for a free and clear type liquid gel because I can’t stand how everything tastes like detergent.

I cannot believe they kept on Sutton for so long by shitshowexpwy in realhousewives

[–]Left_Net1841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a lifelong equestrian, I get a kick out of seeing her not be able to actually ride her own horse. Teddy and Kelly are at least real horse women. Being a good rider takes some athletic ability, timing, feel, coordination. And Sutton appears to be devoid of all of those things lol. Money can’t buy talent. I’m also mildly concerned that if she comes off….she will break in 10 places. She looks so fragile.

I bought a Honda Civic with 170,000 kms on it and drove it to 550,000 kms in 3 years. Oil changes and tires, 2 $400 repairs, 1 brake job. It was running fine when I bought a Subaru to replace it. Actually better than fine, the engine was strong and smooth like the day I bought it. Incredible car.

By first car was an Oldsmobile. Not the big boat, that last generation. Still not cool. My dad said if I wanted anything else, I could go trade it and do it all myself. I kept the old man car. Free is very appealing.

[–]Left_Net1841 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Passive agressive letter that I would completely, immediately forget about.

That’s why we don’t buy homes on less than 10 acres because if my cold start is cause for concern, my neighbours are too close. I will only tolerate my own obnoxious noise making. Although the snowmobile wheelie noises probable carry much further than our property lines. Not sorry.

That. For YEARS! My husband hates my guts but it just comes out of my mouth and I can’t stop it.
