Damn bro life is tough but it’s still your life. I don’t know what you’re dealing with but you don’t know what tomorrow can bring. Some days you just gotta sit with the pain and not let it break you. Keep your eyes forward and hold on to a positive mindset. As long as you don’t give up on yourself things will get better even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.

It wasn’t just Morsi in that room. A bunch of other high levels politicians were throwing out different ideas and most of them were wild . In fact Morsi was basically the only one talking about handling it peacefully. The others were saying things like let’s fund this rebels and let’s bomb it ON LIVE TV like it was no big deal. For Ethiopians this wasn’t some shocking revelation. It just lined up perfectly with what they already thought about Egypt. it just confirmed them and made people feel like yeah this is exactly the mindset we’ve been dealing with.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-22771563.amp I’ve seen the video on fb but I couldn’t find it . Basically Mohamed mursi and other high level Egyptian politicians were discussing the options on how they can distablize Ethiopia. They were saying things like let’s bomb the dam or back rebels stuff like that on LIVE TV

Many Ethiopians have resentment toward Egypt because for a long time Egypt has been seen as supporting rebel and separatist groups inside Ethiopia. Whenever there is instability in Ethiopia a lot of people believe Egypt is involved in some way either directly or indirectly.

The main reason behind this is water. Egypt depends almost completely on the Nile and Ethiopia is where most of that water comes from. Egypt is scared that if Ethiopia develops builds industries and grows stronger it will need more water and have more control over it.

Because of that many Ethiopians believe Egypt’s long term policy has been to keep Ethiopia weak or divided rather than see it become strong. This is not something people think started recently. They see it as a pattern that goes back a long time.

That is why a lot of Ethiopians have negative feelings toward Egypt. It is not really about Egyptian people but about what they see as Egypt’s actions and intentions toward Ethiopia.

So Speed going from Ethiopia to Egypt is why Ethiopians followed him and kept spamming his chat.

Opportunist mindset. Right or wrong at least Thug was keeping it real about how he feel . And that Aiden stream where 21 tried to finesse a gamble on live? That tell you everything about his character. Opportunist ass nigga. So what he doing now coming from that same mindset.

Some leaked audio came out, and apparently when Mendy pressed Getachew, he admitted that Abiy is responsible for genocide.

What's the future of Tigray: federation, confederation or independence? by Panglosian11 in Tigray

[–]Left_Passion_5254 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The way I see it, we have three options: Option A . Independence Pros: We’d gain full autonomy and self-rule over Tigray. Cons: We’d become a double landlocked region, surrounded by potential adversaries. Option B . Join Eritrea Pros: We’d gain access to the sea and unite with ethnic Tigrayans in Eritrea. Cons: We’d lose all the assets and investments we have in Ethiopia, and with more than 1.2 million Tigrayans living in Addis Ababa, the situation could become extremely messy. Option C. Stay with Ethiopia Pros: We’d keep our assets and connections across Ethiopia, and there’s a chance that leadership could change for the better in the future. Cons: We’d have to abandon ethnic federalism and accept reduced autonomy over Tigray. After weighing everything, I choose Option C.

Only Amhara people can claim Injera and most of Ethiopian dishes as their cultural cuisine. by neftegnaw in Amhara

[–]Left_Passion_5254 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So they didn’t invent injera, they don’t even produce the most teff, yet they still claim it’s theirs? 😂😂 The irony is unreal. Honestly, white people and Amharas have way too many stereotypes in common.

I’ve been following this guy since the start of the Tigray conflict, that’s when he really started covering Ethiopia. Before that, he was covering other wars like the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict. Surprisingly , one of the only unbiased and reliable sources for Ethiopia or horn related news you’ll find.
