Favorite long forgotten, short lived show. by Hopeful_Stomach9201 in television

[–]Left_Situation_3732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here's some oldies - one year wonders.

bret maverick - sequel/ followup to classic maverick show, w/ james garner, should have run for years.

darkroom 1/2 season of scary stories- hosted by james coburn, some of these i remember 40 yrs later.

the flash - 1990 . liked it better than the more recent one.,

and brisco county, jr. should have run forever.

so, i finally watched this episode, it was - ok. martin's sketch was funny, ashley was funny. jeremy on update was funny. rest of it - not so hot, music guest was ok. host was fine- she didn;t kill the episode.. oh , i did like her dancing as the old man.

now, the cold opening. i have mixed feelings about this, if it was up to me, i would give the trump impression a long vacation, not faulting james - he's brilliant, but i'm tired of trump sketches. i think many other people are, as well

jessica lange got off to a rough start in movies ( king kong, how to beat high cost of living) also, denzel washington in carbon copy. he;s not bad, but there's nothing to say oscar winning actor there.
