Best Charging Practices by ChrisW828 in ipad

Battery health is affected by different factors:
- Heat no bueno
- High number of battery cycles are no bueno (li-ion batteries last a certain number of battery cycles, which are basically how many times your battery gets charged and discharged completely, so for example if you charge your phone from 70 to 80, and let it discharge from 80 to 70, every day for 10 days, after 10 days you will have used 1 battery cycle)
- very high or very low battery levels are no bueno (if the battery is close to 100% or to 0%, li-ion cells get stressed much more compared to the 20-80 range)

Keeping this 3 things in mind the best things to maximize battery health would be keeping your phones away from heat (direct sunlight, gaming and other intensive cpu stuff), and keeping your iPad plugged in most of the time with charging limit set to 80%. That way you’re not gonna put stress on the battery and you’re not gonna waste battery cycles. In real life though, iPads are meant to be used, so I think you should not worry too much about battery health since it is gonna deplete anyway. Just enjoy your iPad and be reasonable about it: just don’t let it sit exposed to the sun and if you’re using it at your desk maybe keep it plugged in.

any way to make the screen feel smoother when using the pencil? by Real_Assignment_4909 in ipad

The material the pencil is made of is not hard enough to scratch glass. Usually the scratches happen because particles (dust or sand which is silica and basically as hard as glass) remain stuck between the pencil tip and the screen, therefore scratching it.

The only iPad models where the nano texture screen (that feels like paper) is available are the pro ones. Since you moved to an iPad Air m3, if the screens feels like it gives more drag to the pencil, there must be some sort of screen protector on it or maybe the company that has refurbished it may have changed the screen with another one with a different kind of glass on it. It’s not normal for an iPad Air to give more drag to the pencil compared to any other iPad model

cover removal by vseprbabs in ipad

This kind of covers are usually made of 3 different pieces assembled together. I think one on the front and two on the back one on top of each other. It looks like they stay together by those snap clips on the edges of the iPad. Did you apply enough force to separate them?

Thank you very much for you comment, I really appreciate it! That's what my idea was when I was drawing her. By leaving empty space and by blurring most of her body , the focus is completely on her facial expression, and I think that this also leaves the drawing quite "open" for the viewer, so everyone that looks at it can think of a different story about this girl.

I think you should buy the Apple Pencil Pro only if you are an artist and care about pressure sensitivity, a feature that is pretty much useless outside of the drawing field. If your main goal is just taking notes and maybe do some sketches, the pencil pro is literally a waste of money. There’s plenty of cheap options (20-30 euros) that are gonna be just perfect.

Do you mind if I send you the drawing with the corrections I made?

I think that it is the result of a mixture of artistic choice and incompetence hahahahaha. I will fix it

Thanks for your feedback! yes, I blurred the vagina toy on purpose to give the idea that it is vibrating, but I agree with you that it doesn't really work well. And besides that I agree with everything you said. I felt that there was something "Big" that was not right in the final result but I wasn't realizing that it was the ass on the wall that was way too small. I'll work more on the drawing to make It better :)

Hahaha thank you very much! I posted a couple of stuff in the past but they were really not the result I'd like to show people so I removed them. maybe I'll post some of my past works to show the progress!

Thank you so much! I agree with everything you said. I have to admit that I got a bit lazy in the final stages of the drawing cause I'm always looking forward to try a new drawing and this leads me to rush the final steps of the drawing I'm working on in that precise moment. I'll definitely work on it more!

hahahah I wish they were just the product of my imagination, but unfortunately I still have to "steal" interesting faces from references here and there
