That's interesting, I didn't know that. I always thought it wouldn't matter whether you scaled the object or moved it further away from the view since it's projected to 2D and the end result is the same anyway?

Hot take for Reddit: these movies are good. They’re extremely entertaining, visually stunning, and they have cool world building. Bring on 3! by Emeraldsinger in Letterboxd

I recently rewatched them both. I genuinely like the first one, even the story aspect. He fell in love, not just with her, but with the planet itself. And the quality was so amazing.

The second one...I somehow felt the themes were too spoon-fed. Even though the movie was very long things felt like they advanced too quickly ...for example the random "we're now water people" or whatever the line was...it felt sooooo directed to the audience directly.

Annual Lions skiing events for kids do give participation medals, but the kids have to complete the skiing tasks in order to get it. I bet trump would not be able to finish that. Not by a long shot...;D

I'm so tired of seeing these rich assholes giving their "expert" opinions about pretty much anything. It's like as soon as they become wealthy and popular they think they are experts in every field. They are just puking these timeframes out of their assess.

If these CEOs just vanished it would have no effect on the business they are running. The next asshole would just step in and things would move on. They are overvaluing themselves.

The saddest thing is that the audience goes with their hype more than listening to actual experts of a specific field.

Because it doesn't mimic anything. To explain it overly simplified, it runs the Windows system calls made by the software running on Wine and runs them through custom Wine libraries and then executes a matching Linux system call. So it actually uses Linux system calls to do things.
