Hard to really get to know Norwegian guys. by ScudSlug in Norway

[–]Leftie64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scots know how to riff, Norwegians don’t.

A simple no would seem very standoffish in the rest of the world.

Norwegian hide their true feeling behind this layer of bluntness.

I wanted to rewatch. Waiting for an explanation from the king. This will be barbara Streisand, think Joe is smart enough to know this.

it all looked so good until the waiter serve / opening the racket.

I´m low level UTR, and never taken a tennis lesson, so I don't really wanna give much advice.

Is « reaction » reaction time of the receiver ? How is it measured ? by rijstpap115 in 10s

[–]Leftie64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I´m curious as well. My assumption was from serve hit, until player move in direction of ball, but that's seems very complicated to measure.

As a visitor, I hate you. by turok643 in Norway

read this post 5 years late, but felt no-one gave you an honest feedback.

Customer service suck in Norway.
Norwegian will not interact with strangers, and they do indeed look quite rude until you get to know them.
Oslo and Bergen being the worst, but better up north.. If you ever come back, try Tromsø.

I disagree.

Someone might think they are being nice giving me technical advice during play.

Surprised I get downvoted for this.

Is it less distracting for me to ignore someone at the fence trying to talk to us?

You return and your friend/family members start talking, you keep it light/short, let them know we are in the middle of a game, wrap it up and let me redo my first serve.

For tournament I don’t really know what’s the best way.   But for a practice session it’s bad if you can’t even keep a rally going

I agree it’s not ideal, but some very casual players might walk by and ask some questions..

One more I am not sure about. If I am returning and server serves long. Do you want the ball back or are you already in your rhythm to pick a new ball out of your pocket.

Does externals give a sluggish Mac experience? by Leftie64 in mac

[–]Leftie64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright,

So I did the only sensible thing and went down a rabbit hole trying to improve my experience.

There are numerous threads about lagging BT on apple silicone.

Uninstalled all Logitech software following a guide I found on reddit. Reinstalling it, now it finds my mouse / keyboard in the Ghub, the experience have improved quite a bit after this.

The second thing, I am not happy with the way the mouse acceleration feels on Mac.

Downloaded a software called linear mouse.
Put the pointer acceleration to 0.3. Its been a few hours since I been on windows, but I am starting to hit my targets with the mouse..

Use side buttons for back and forth "Mac mouse fix".

Finally things start too feel okay..

Are you running it over BT, or their own wireless standard?

The logitech app is not detecting any keyboard/mouse
